Diagnostic Tool for Emira?

Has anyone found a good diagnositc tool that will scan the car's componets rather than only read codes when ECL is on? If so, can you please share a link to where you bought it from? I know that these cars are new and most owners will go back to their dealers but I thinking of long term ownership and also the convenience fo being able to diagnose stuff rather than the 1.5 hour trip to my Lotus main dealer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unlikely to find anything other than the true Lotus software, believe you may be able to  rent time linked to Lotus but I expect you will also need a piece of suitable hardware. Have seen similar referred to for Evora etc

The Lotus OEM software (what used to be called Tech Centre) will only be available to authorised service centres.

I think legally they have to make it available to anyone, however the price isn't 'anyone' friendly, it's quite expensive.

OK Thanks for the info. I'll try asking a different question.

Does anyone know of a scanner that will pick up error codes for this car, like a Snap-On, Launch, Foxwell, Autell or similar? Please only post if you know of one that works on these cars.

No. None of those will pick up the Lotus codes. 

Basic OBD2 codes only, I’m afraid.
