Evora S to 410/430 AP Racing Brakes

Recommended Posts

In keeping with the similar post on swapping out the Evora S dampers for those for the 410 🙂 , I am also curious if we could swap the entire calipers/pads of the S with the AP Racing ones from the 410/430 models, in line with the offer that was available for a brand new kit that almost cost the same as just changing Evora S pads for front and rears only...

I see that the AP Racing kit is still 4pot, would they be just plug and play? I read the calipers/pins seize with age, so it could be a good idea to do the full kit at approx 10yrs life of the car (mine is 2015 Evora S), especially at the offer price (if the offer is still available).

Any thoughts?

That offer is closed now I'm afraid and it was never a straight swap. I don't think we ever worked out what was needed to move from pre-400 brakes to these but it was certainly more than just a swap.

Ok so they would only make sense if bigger discs (what diameter did you upgrade to?) were used as well, correct? I guess they would not mount properly on top of the smaller/stock discs (330?) of the Evora S?

The 430 discs are; F 370 * 32mm & R 350 * 32mm if this helps.
