Exhaust and Cat Convertor recommendations

Hello all, at the ripe old age of 22 my Elise now needs a new catalytic convertor (its starting rattling quite badly!) so, I figured I would change this and the backbox at the same time.

I'm quite liking the look of the Elise Parts sports cat and back box but wondered if anyone

a) has any experience of either of these or

b) can recommend something else?

@Kevin Wheeler - Have you had to change yours at all yet?

I have only had one piece of my exhaust replaced - which is the front pipe. SJ117S0005 on SJ sportscars. This does not have the Cat in it.https://www.sjsportscars.com/parts-and-accessories.htm?act=nav&from=20

I have not changed my back box.

SJ Cat looks to be a similar price. Thankfully, mine is still going at 138,000 miles!

Hi Dean,

Shiny new bits are always nice, but I also had a bad rattling from the cat and found it was just the heat shield, abit of a squeeze with the pliers soon fixed that however once off I found it was broken inside which needed a bit more bodgery to make good enough for me for now.

Obviously can't help with recommendations on the S2 but I have a janspeed backbox, it's heavy as f***k and I had to cut & weld the tailpipes to get it to come out the back right.
