Roger Moore's office are adamant I'm afraid that he's no longer in the UK much and only attends 'huge' fundraisers, ho-hum!

We we've got better, I'm more of a fan of our very own Roger Becker to be honest, and MJK is coming too. I'll be working on more special guests for the Bond Bash, just waiting for Daniel Craig's publicist to get back to me!

Do you have any Idea yet on how much this little lot is going to cost per head and is it one day or a weekend? Also how about accommodation prices etc. I know it's early days yet, but some sort of heads up would be good!

Maybe I can sling a tent up behind some bush somewhere if the rooms are too expensive

Following on from Cliff's suggestion I've an appointment at Goodwood in a couple of weeks. They are very keen to have us there and it's got to be the best venue going for a petrolhead summer ball!

Laura and I will be at Goodwood at 3pm this Thursday to discuss with them the venue. Speaking to the chap who runs the Beaujolais Run at the Classic Car Show a couple of weeks back, Lord March is very hard work by all accounts and they are pretty inflexible on the catering, which at the moment is the sticking point there as it's very, very expensive. I'll let you know what happens on Thursday
