My mistake no doubt, I probably just didn't change your name when I copied another entry as a template. I'll sort it out next time I update this

Believe it or not, the document I use to revise the table has has 11 hours work spent on it, it's pretty boring stuff!

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

77??0247H (Probably 77040247H)

Red with Tartan

53K miles

Owner: Ed Pedro in Whitby, Ontario, Canada

Car is currently for sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1977-Lotus-...1QQcmdZViewItem

77020141H

Original red gel coat in exc. condition

Original tartan, changed to black leather long time ago

Sold new by Jim Loose Imported Cars, has importer/dealer fitted sunroof (fitted to numerous federal S1s)

Mileage -- around 41K in 2008

Owned by Frank D. in Erie, PA, USA for ~15+/- years, sold in 2008.

Currently resides in Belgium, private owner.

The first Federal S1, #102H, is a blue car. Presumably the only blue federal gelcoat car, if it even is a gelcoat (I've never seen it in person). I've been told by someone who claims to be a former owner that its interior was retrimmed a pale gray (leather, I think), and it had custom wheels installed that have black centers. A west coast car. For a long time, a few years ago, there was a car matching that description for sale on collectorcartraderonline.com, in California. Perhaps that was it.

If anyone wants to have the first Federal S1 here's a start for your search! :)

77090464H

Paint Code is L34 (Roman Bronze)

Was for sale in California October 2008

Car has been repainted either red or black (can't quite remember)

Engine has been replaced with 907 #11 74 9979

77090460H

L34 Roman Bronze

Brown/beige interior

Owned by Mike H. in Ohio, currently being restored

There is a lagoon blue S1 in Italy. It was originally a California car, I think the chassis number in the 400s. Very original car. Had the vin for it in an email from someone, but email has magically disappeared from my yahoo inbox. :(

Is or was one of only two "gray" colored S1s. The color has been referred to as "gunmetal" and "slate". Interior was brown marcasite.

Purchased new by Mr. Cliff Robinson on 8/27/77. Selling dealer was International Imports, Medina, Ohio. Sold after 8000 miles to Tim Switzer, the service manager of the dealership.

Current whereabouts unknown, but I would sure like to find it! :)

#7904020152T Lotus Esprit S2 JPS #24 (US), owned since 1990. Webers, Epsilon wheels. I had some center caps made for the wheels, and still have some left, if anyone is interested.

I also did final disassembly of 795H, from someone that tried to convert it to a Lambo kit car, sold off many parts, still have the tranny.
