on the topic of humans vs. robots..  The biggest challenge for robots is "making a sandwhich".   It is so simple to us, but incredibly complex.  Unscrewing lids of jars, picking up knives and spoons, spreading butter on bread without tearing the bread, picking up slimy cold-cuts..    Robots have a loonnngg way to go.

 I believe this is called "Hogging"...when the vessel is supported by one wave in the middle and snaps in two. As opposed to "Sagging"...when the vessel is supported by two waves, one at the bow and one at the stern, and it snaps in two the other way...the keel coming apart and the ends bending upwards. I have never seen a photograph of either happening before.....glad it wasn't on my watch.....
