.... and he sticks to the original theme way more than John Sykes ever did….Rant over!

I saw Lizzy live with John Skyes. Never considered him a proper member of the band.

Thin Lizzy's got to be the ultimate driving music for the Esprit. Nothing better than driving on a country road on a sunny day listening to Warrior or Romeo and the Lonely Girl. Classic 70s rock for a classic 70s cars :).

Wow, that's some series guitar playing. If I didn't know I'd have thought it was Satriani too.

This is more my kind of playing. Chicken Pickin'. And yes that is the actor off Smokey and the Bandit.

That's hilarious. I just watched that same clip last week and got to see Chet and Jerry on tour together for the "Sneakin' Around" album. Jerry smoked a cigar the whole concert even though it was a no-smoking club.

If you like chicken pickin', then you gotta check out my favorite guitarist of all-time--because I think he can play anything--Greg Koch, who pulls off a mash-up of chicken pickin', Nugent, and Zeppelin...

Brilliant Pilko and interesting as well.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Genius. (Mainly for our friends across the pond :D )

Thanks, Graham. Watched every minute of it, and still wanted more. Every now and then you find a man "born to the task." Brought back many memories from an earlier visit.:D

Got to agree Mark.......Lizzy ismy favourite band of all time ....best line up ever was Lynott, Downey, Gorham.......... and Brian Robertson (never equalled).

My favourite by far , the Cowboy Song... but any way, musn't upset the Gov. .....

However, back to Thin Lizzy again and driving music and Esprits........remember this?

I only recently re-commissioned mine, after years of dust catching, it has an Ortofon cartridge and runs through a pre-amp as the new Marantz amps don't have a phono input. It still sounds great.

I've got stuff I've never managed to find on CD, so it's fun to be able to still play the Vinyl.

Not many of us connoisseurs left.
