Very nice, I do like pearlescent white paintwork, I had my race cycle painted this colour back in the eighties when I used to race bikes.

Ha! I should have looked at your profile, it says Monaco White there, but I think the light in the picture make it look more metallic, either way, it still look very smart.

I wonder if it is the one from the Glasgow area that made a re-appearance a year or so back and was briefly offered for sale/not for sale/for sale/not for sale....

I think it is - I've met the owner a couple of times at Thirlstane castle, younger than your average owner (Dunc excepted).

 

You never know for sure, but I think the PO passed it on with some trouble in store, as the engine went pop very shortly after the new guy bought it. He was very philosophical about it, and just took a rebuild on the chin as the rest of the car is absolutely mint. Therefore he now has an as-new Eclat Riviera that is a keeper

Found this white Elite on a FaceBook forum. I asked if it was for sale....unfortunately it was used as a banger racer and is now apparently in a million pieces!! What a waste..

Hi all, here's My 79 Eclat S1 , was on the old forum a few years ago. It's stood for 8 years in my old damp garage so it needs a bit of TLC. (TLC probably meaning new galvanised chassis)

Great looking car - that's the first time a set of aftermarket wheels has really suited the Elite/Eclat IMHO, same with the body colour bumpers.

Cheers, still got the original wheels to keep the purists happy - Just need restoring. It was all like that when I bought it in 2006.Got to spend a bit of time (& money) now sorting everything out.
