Insurance - current favourites?

Hi guys,

Can anyone who has recently renewed advise who are offering the most competitive terms for Evora at this time. Age 42, no points and business use. It looks like I may need to move from ESure, as they have an allergy to sports cars, despite my telling the call centre girl to calm down dear, it's only a Lotus.

CCI for me, renewal just come through at £427 = result! Thats 5k pa and includes 6 track days.

Thanks guys, I've quickly compared my meerkat, and Admiral come in ahead for me too.

Surprisingly, it's less than my N/A Evora was, and much less than my current Elise S/C.

I've been using the broker A-Plan the last few years. They were very competitive for the Esprit (using Royal Sun Alliance - unlimited mileage, Class 1 business use) and although RSA pulled out of the market for new business last year, the broker actually persuaded them to keep existing business so I renewed again few months ago. I have now insured two of my other cars via A-Plan (beating all the quotes I got via the meerkats) and I have just moved my house and contents insurance to them as well.

Is not just the price, customer service and policy conditions are important. A-Plan have done me proud on both counts.

Liverpool Victoria (LV) for me with a recent own fault accident as well were £700 ish. Garaged/Tracker/7K miles/a. Last year I did try some of the Forum offer companies and either had no quote, wrong car or more expensive.

Yeah I tried a couple when I got my Evora and they couldn't quote me.

The usual Admiral/Bell/Elephant are the only ones who were reasonable.

Try Henderson Taylor. Matt is really helpful and they were comforatbly the cheapest for my Elise
