Saw Andy Clements at Longwater Lane Ind Est Friday and thought....my god, Lotus have been using his Excel for Rallying!!

Clean your car Andy...and when a maniac waves and flashes his lights stuck in traffic. Please say hi!!

Well, it does.

It's a protective layer for the paint, it keeps the sun's rays from fading it, stones from puncturing the lacquer and trucks from getting close to the bodywork.

I don't even remember being at Longwater last Friday so remembering a lunatic would be impossible, not that I'm saying I wasn't there it's just the memory is rather hazy at the moment.

You came down the hill to the roundabout, went round and then back up the otherside (just thinking....was it Friday or Thursday). But was solid traffic about 4.30 to 5pm. I was waiting to come out of the other side

Probably been to the petrol filling station, I've got a fairly full tank at the moment so that ties in, or maybe to Sainsbury's for groceries. I am really clueless.

He's on a mission to buy all the Excels and make them as dirty as possible. Then he'll have one clean one and it will win all the Concours events as it'll be the only one thats been washed.

A boss of one of the water companies (you know, the ones that leak millions of litre water each year) said recently that a dirty car was a badge of honour

Perhaps a sticker saying "be proud of your dirty car" would be better than a bottle of shampoo?

I can't stand driving or sitting in a dirty car. Thats the reason I change my cars so often, I wear the paint off within a year

Never had that problem, I'd view that as vandalism.
