Help needed please - video8

Hi all, Megan has loads of video8 cassettes which belong to her late dad, we are looking for a method of playing the tapes and recording onto an external hard drive. We have looked on line with no success.

We could either find a camera that will play them or some kind of device that will fit into a VHS cassette player. We have had no luck finding anyone who can help or sell us the required kit.

Does anyone know how we can record these old video tapes, happy to buy a player if anyone has one for sale, or borrow one, or hire.

you can borrow, then you can edit before putting on disc
