How can you get excited about a game about toilets? Doesn't it get repetitious? Poo here, poo there.  :getmecoat:

Can't wait it's brilliant, I watched the last episode of the last series last night just to get ready. We always record it because of the bloody adverts you'd have thought paying a full subscription to sky you could at least watch something without them all the time.

So many plots flying around (excuse pun)

Personally, I hope Ser Jorah Mormont is the last man standing, but I suspect he'll get whacked soon enough, probably through betrayal by Daenerys Targaryen. 

 

Anyone know when Diana Rigg shows up? Horse-drawn Elan and such?

Diana Rigg should be in the upcoming s3 as Olenna Tyrell.

I'm hoping Ayra is the last man (girl) standing, I've a few favourites but I suspect this is the kind of story that doesn't really care for favourites or good guys! George R.R. Martin certainly is king of the nerds and knows how to spin a good yarn.

Spot on with Ayra. Things will undoubtedly get good when she calls on the services of Jaqen H'ghar again, who is hands-down my favorite character from season 2.

AWESOME. And you are right Laura. Having read the books and eagerly awaiting the new one I can agree that Mr Martin does not respect heroes. Killing them seems a must, at least 1 a series.

 

Only thing that I am a bit disappointed about is that the Direwolves don't feature highly like they do in the books. For example in the first 2 Ayra's Direwolf is known to be around from hints and sounds.

 

Last nights was just setting the scene before going off at a pace!

Well there you go. I thought you were talking about a Sony game or somesuch as I had never heard of the show. Don't have foxtel or anything like that.

 

Liz and I have since bought Series 1 & 2. 1 has been watched and we are now embarking into Series 2. I think we're up to the third episode.

 

I said to Liz the other night, "Is it just me, or is there more porn in this than some porn movies?"

 

She said she was thinking exactly the same thing. :hrhr:

Assuming it keeps getting renewed there's quite a lot of story to be told in the books they are based on.

 

There are currently 5 books with two more planned and series three apparently runs to about half way through the third book.

Series 4 just been signed up to film in Northern Ireland. I am eagerly awaiting book 6 which is due out this year.....

 

George RR Martin, the writer, has also been contracted to do a couple of stand alone screenplays for the same production company.
