Perhaps asked earlier but i cannot find it...

 

Does anybody have a list of the wiring coulours and their symbols as used in the

sevice notes of the esprit turbo "88.

LTG - light green

N - brown

O - orange

P - purple

R - red

S - slate

U - blue

W - white

Y - yellow

Some more info, from the electrical section  MY 1990 and onwards, but i think it will also be applicable to the older cars.

 

 

Principle Colour Usage

 

Brown - Main Battery feed

Blue - Feed from lighting Switch when Headlamps selected

Blue/Red - Dipswitch to Dip Beam

Blue/White - Dipswitch to Main Beam

Red/Black - LH side & tail Lamps feed

Red/Orange - RH side & tail Lamps feed

Purple - Accesories fused direct from Battery

Green - Accesories fused via Ignition Switch

Green/Red - LH flasher Lamps

Green/White - RH flasher Lamps

White - Ignition Control Circuit (unfused)

White/Red - Engine cranking Circuits

Yellow - Auxiliary Circuits

Black - Earth Connections

Slate - Window Lift

now staying on the wiring 

 

I have a brown "book" esprit 88 onwards.

 

In the wiring section there are the wiring sheets.

in my book it is starting with sheet 5

so i miss a few (1-4) with i think the wiring of the dash

 

can i download this somewhere??

or can somebody scan the missing pages?

Would be a great help for me as the wiring of the car is a total mess
