Nice one! About time too. Never did much like the colour of your last one, especially with that cream leather...

2006 and I would be cooking you curry, Thai, Chinese, sausage and mash, pouring copious beers down your throat and arranging interesting Russian women to sit on your face if I could have licked your cars Bibs :bounce:

<sigh>

I tempted fate...now my Esprit V8 IS in bits...(sob)

Coming up to 1,000 miles in the 111s since Saturday including several laps of Goodwood yesterday afternoon! Loving it :D:D:D

I always fancied one of those. You should write some sort of back-to-back comparison of the two for those looking for an Elise S1.

Pilkster, it's got a Hurricane and EP Sports exhaust already!

It'd only done around 500 miles/year for the past 10 years in the hands of its PO, a Doctor. That's changing :D

Life imitating art - Here's a quote from me in Evo in Nov last year...

http://www.evo.co.uk/lotus/17012/why-now-is-the-time-to-buy-a-used-lotus-evo-market

Quote

Both Munday and Andy Betts (the latter of thelotusforums.com) believe the S1 111S, introduced in 1999, is the car to go for if you can find the extra cash. This was the moment the Elise discovered a more boisterous attitude to life, with a 143bhp VVC K-series Rover engine, a closer-ratio gearbox, wider wheels, headlamp covers and an additional rear wing among the improvements. Expect to pay a £2000 premium. The Sport 135, 160 and 190 models are ‘the icing on the cake’, according to Betts, who adds, ‘Just try finding one.’
