Daffodils. Not for stupid people.

Supermarkets have been warned to keep daff bulbs away from foodstuffs in case some of our more IQ challenged brethren mistake them for onions. Surely this would be an ideal opportunity for Darwinism to show itself.  BBC Clicky

I ate them fas a kid, a piece on the TV programme How? (Remember that) said the flower heads were edible so me and my mate tried one.

Aren't onions in a big tray with "ONIONS" written on it.....

 

And Daffs.....now correct me if I'm wrong.....may just say "Daffodil Bulbs" on them?

I can't see the confusion myself but why do they put the daffs next to the veg? I noticed this is Tesco the other night, front of the shop, cut flowers, potted plants, bulb growing kits but the daffodils are with the vegetables next to the onions.

Not saying they are easy to mix up but it doesn't seem like the obvious place to put them.
