Evora 400 Mule?

Just popped out for lunch in Norwich and look what pulled up alongside in the city's traffic.

If this is the Evora 400 test mule out for a jaunt, it certainly looked beefed up despite the camouflage, and it sounded meaty as the driver accelerated away.

Thanks - I did a double take when I saw it and just remembered to snap the images in time.

I followed it for a bit up Newmarket Rd with my passenger window open & it sounded great.

I am sure it is going to look epic in the right paint job and colour!

I really like what they've done with the front and rear, I cant understand why some people are negative about it.

That particular car still has the old dash but new seats. It visually looks a lot more aggressive. Pictures on the net don't do it justice. The brakes are huge, but its the sound it makes that stands out the most It doesn't sound like a V6 at all.

I really like the look of the 400 and the fact that it has been made to look more aggressive, especially at the font.

However, I have always wanted the rear lights to be more prominent - Either a larger single lamp (like Alfa 4C & 8C) or a pair of current size on each side to give it a stronger rear styling. I can't help thinking that the rear lights can get 'lost' a bit.

I am nitpicking here, as I really like it.

I went to Duxford today for the Flying Legends air show and whilst on A11 southbound saw a yellow Evora 400 undisguised travelling on northbound carriageway between Thetford and Norwich. It looked as though it had some type of red and white trade plate on the front.

I was surprised to see it doing the return trip on my way home at nearly the same spot!

Was there an event at Snetterton or Hethel?

It was good to see one on the road and in a bright colour - Looked very good....

You defo get two rising plumes of heat from the chimneys on the car from the engine bay.  Especially noticeable on cold days when the car actually can steam.  At Alford Speedfest last week my engine cover got so hot I couldn't handle it even for a few seconds to lift it off!  Hardly surprising the boot is good place to roast the groceries!  After running on track I was leaving it sitting without cover and hatch open and it was a warm place!
