MRI results in.

OK well i got the results of my MRI scan today, only after i had to chase down my consultant on the damn phone all day. we were sick of having to wait for someone to have the bloody courtesy to call us or write a letter.

The standard scan showed no neurosarcoidosis, neither did the contrast, however they are now confirming the T.I.A finally, no signs of permanent damage and no bleeds anywhere.

The T.I.A was due to constriction of the something or other arteries in a certain section of the brain, the contrast scan showed this.

The relief that we are feeling is beyond belief, and for once i was able to breath a little easier.

I am still due to have a lumbar puncture and E.E.G and further tests, but all in all some good news.

I now have been told to take things easy and that the speech will sort itself out in a few weeks.

The cold feeling in the right side and slight tingling is just an extended side effect, they slight droop still in the eye will stay there now.

Still getting very tired after doing too much and my concentration is out of the window, but things are improving slowly.

Thanks for the continued suppoort, i just hope my typing improves

Hey Si good news! You will be able to attend the factory then? :D

Sorry to hear about the Lumbar punch (puncture)....depends on how they do it ! It's not a pleasant proceedure believe me....though it was partly responsible for saving my life.

Hey I know, I should start a " Nasty illnesses and diseases had by members!" now there's a cracking topic! :D

Might get some that have to be mod'd though....trips to the clinic and all that! :D

That's great news, Simon. That must be a great load off you and your wife's mind. As everyone keeps saying, take it easy. Work on the Lamborghini for a while.
