So, my friend is happy to share info,

The half brown leather car that was fire damaged JIW7130 is now being refitted after painting, chassis number 1136.

I have asked about his other white dry sump, I’ll share when I get any info.

Incredible Graham, nice work on #1136. A good one to add to the database and now all white and brown leather and white with half brown leather Turbo Esprit Chassis numbers confirmed.

In the CAR test there is a clear front view of the car showing the mirror is not the glued-on-glass type which was used on roof stereo cars. Also they never mentioned the roof stereo in the review at all. Maybe we have 2 different cars here, with reg number change!

I just checked my copy of the actual magazine. The car on the front cover in any case has the mirror glued to the windscreen. You can see the adhesive square on the windscreen.

Some day when you have a chance that would be good.

As far as we know there are only 3 original brown full leather interiors left for all Domestic dry sump cars.

#951

#953

#1035

so it would be good to see some close ups!

I suggest checking with vendors of parts for serious motorsports machinery, as this sort of belt may be used for pump drives on pure circuit racing cars.

Heart skipped a beat.. the dream car right there...

These early cars have such an aura surrounding them.

still trying to track down #928 + #954, maybe one day they will surface.

Not sure about this LHD car, I have seen these pictures before that you have posted. I would be nice to shed some light on this one.

I don't think it will be a #9XX number...

I have asked about his other white dry sump, I’ll share when I get any info.

The owner shared some info on Facebook recently with a photo of 1136 almost completed.

His Other car is an 82 white dry sump with full red cloth interior. Serial number TBA.

so whereabouts of #928 and #954 still unknown.

Cheers,

Lex
