  1. *Think* I saw them in the Abergavenny Halfords last year...
  2. Pop down to your local Halfwits/motor accessory emporium and get yourself one of these It'll make the job so much quicker (especially if you're trying to do it single-handed). Cost = approx.
  3. 3, 4 or 5.1 but NOT 5.0 (will eat your nice new seals)
  4. Just back from an evening on the lash with a crowd of mates... your birthdays were toasted with two or three bottles of a particularly good Primitivo followed by a bottle of Fairview La Beryl dessert wine (absolute nectar). That just leaves the odd 6,000 wines to taste at Excel on Wednesday. Tough job but someone's gotta do it! Cheers chaps
  5. Happy Birthday Neil Hope you have a great day!
  6. Some breakdown T&C's stipulate that if the car's original spare wheel has been removed it invalidates the roadside assistance cover for tyre related issues. If the car wasn't originally supplied with a spare then it shouldn't be a problem
  7. But check the T&C of your breakdown cover before you do though...
  8. Welcome to the forum Tal Scan through the last few pages in Newbies section and you'll find several previous threads on broadly similar themes that may help too.
  9. Fit dual controls and so can you matey
  10. Some wag over on PH has just commented "Let's hope they aren't sharing accountancy tips"
  11. Happy Birthday Kylie Hope you have a lovely day!
  12. Pics taken from the how to guide shown in post #3 Compressor location - Service valves -
  13. R12 > March 1995 R12 banned/no longer available in most countries. So you'll need one of the drop-in R12 replacements e.g. R413A. Here's an excellent how to guide - click here. Alternatively, you could have the system converted to use the same gas used in post March 1995 Esprits - the confusingly named R134A.
  14. Yep, that's deffo the first thing to check. Several other potential offenders inc. split rubber gear lever gaitor, fuel tanks etc. A quick Search should reveal quite a few previous threads on the subject that'll provide plenty of pointers. For additional 'how to' guides check out the Maintenance section over on LotusEspritWorld
