  1. Exige 410 - after remap 471hp, 514Nm https://www.facebook.com/VoneRacingValence/posts/3136396586401549 Exige 430 - after remap 497hp, 484Nm https://www.facebook.com/VoneRacingValence/posts/4050397425001456 A member on G111 forum has been to Vone (they are Lotus specialist for many years... yes, they exist next to KT. Seems like my comments are not too much appreciated here!!) with his 430 cup, Komotec air intake, 2bular manifolds, no cat.: 504hp, 534Nm. (you'll need to register: http://garage111.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=9818&start=810) Let the flaming begin (again).
  2. Bizar KT doesn't extract more power out of the 410... 😉 Even less then out of their ex460 kit... 🤔 Check out Vone Racing Valence as an example: Exige 410 after remap only: 471 bhp and 514 Nm - 899eur
  3. There was a post on Facebook from a Peter Ha with an Exige V6 had the same issue, but then on the engine side. Fixed by his garage by cutting the rotten piece off and use high pressure couplers. Again, not at the same spot. No foam issue there... but a apparently road salt issue. Pretty poor design IMHO. (it's on the Exige owners group, so maybe not visible without membership: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=957908428078939&set=gm.1670360346499187) He is on here if I am not mistaken, so pinging @ArthouseCompany
  4. @Mark.A what exact Joying did you get? Contemplating installing one too.
  5. @tactical lizard FWIW, my car came with locking bolts... literally the first thing I removed. Can't see why anyone would want those bastards on his/hers car, IMO nothing but trouble.
  6. @karluk29 you are in the Exige section.... not the Evora section 😅 Edit... Now Bibs makes me look stupid by moving the topic to the Evora section 🤔😁😁
  7. @Arun_D AND...black valve stem cover on those terrific looking BC Forged's too 😉
  8. @NANO just to chime in. Have been running the 'solid' black ones for over 4 years now with 3 different sets of wheels. Torque them with a torque wrench, slightly higher compared to the ones with the moving washer and you'll be fine. I do mine up a 115Nm.
  9. It is logged in the ECU and you can extract the info via TechCentre. It is "highest revs" for "x milliseconds". However, there is some pretty funky stuff in there, which leads me to believe not all is 100% accurate. (I have read somewhere that an "oil low event" gets triggered when simply draining and replacing the oil - not sure this is true at all; but there are some very strange examples of ECU readouts also on this forum, suggest a search).
  10. Bizar... Letting a car idle up to temp IMHO is a bad idea. Takes too long to warm the oil whilst idling so there is excessive wear.
  11. Put an amp meter (probes) in serie between the + terminal on the battery and the + lead. Then you can read the current draw in rest. Shouldn't be any higher than a few mA. (like 10 or so). When higher, parasitic power drain.
  12. ? If I switch on the 'city lights', in fact the DRL's dim to 50% and the rear lights come on. No dipped beam is on in that case.
  13. Damn, yet another Exige with RZ05's 😁😁 j/k looking ace @Arun_D; like what you did with the centre drop. I was in doubt on mine, but I really really like how it works on your car! Looking great! PS: if you ever need Lotus emblems that fit over the BC ones, drop me a line (got mine on ebay, but took a few attempts to get right) @Arun_D looking at your pics: did you replace the valve stem cap with a black one? Or do BC now offer to have a black valve stem? (mine are RVS and want black)?
  14. Really like how the alu colour looks on the car! Love them!
  15. I would guess the reliability on the DCT box to be very good, as it is a standard VAG item. Assume that item goes into the a LOT heavier Golfs, Audi etc which are not rare to be tuned close to / into the 500 bhp range? The sequentials on the other hand are a racing car item, hence unsuitable for everyday use (also from a maintenance perspective)
  16. Let's try that again.... So I made a new knob, I polished that knob very well... Don't know anything about woodworking and I don't have a lathe, but I do have a 3d printer 🤓. So solid printed the insert, including the M12x1.75 thread as a solid part; to engage reverse is just like OEM. What's not like OEM: bigger diameter, sits higher up, warmer, ... and to top it all off: when I'm making "brum brum" noises I now think I am in a Carrera GT! (need to make the noises as the car is hibernating). Got bored; so here goes my attempt. Pretty chav about it (and taste is a personal thing).
  17. Made a new knob. EDIT: need to get the picture not showing fixed. Please stand by...
  18. Get two 30GBP O2 simulators to screw in at the POST cat O2 bungs (so between exhaust and both post cat O2 sensors). If the error code stays away, than indeed the cats are faulty. They blow through, so you can call it a day then and run with these simulators in place (provided you don't need to pass emissions). With an aftermarket exhaust and sport cat, you MIGHT need them too: the aftermarket sportcat sits a bit far down the exhaust path and might warm up a tad slow, triggering the P017x codes (cat below efficiency threshold), especially on the <200 cpi cats. In that case you could also run without an aftermarket cat at all... the O2 simulators trick the ECU a cat is still in place. Something like these (get the mini cat ones): http://www.bigdaddiesgarage.com/mini-cat-cel-fix.html Of course, not debating the environmental impact.
  19. @Exx so same crap as in Belgium. FYI, I have PS4's to replace the Corsa's on my Exige.... MUUUUUUCH better!!
  20. Hi Exx, we have the same "rules" here in Belgium. You need to check if the 215-width is mentioned on your Certificate of Comformity, typically under paragraph 50. If there only the 205/xx is mentioned, you need to keep to that one. (There is a slight tolerance of 3% allowed here, not sure in France)
