Black is an absolute bugger to keep clean. Believe me, I have an M100 and a Peugeot van. Great when they're washed but 5 mins later ..... I have won two "2nd in class" awards in car shows with the M100 so it scrubs up well enough.

Mine stays on the 4th cycle quite often after hook up. Its the absorption phase where it maximises up to 100% of the battery capacity but with a declining current, unlike phase 3 which uses max. current up to 80% capacity. Nothing to worry about. -

Oh aye, that looks a bit naff 🤔 By rhe way, when you removed all the stickers and black service hatch wrap etc.. did you also remove the black nose badge and replace with an original green and yellow Lotus badge? -
My advice is to return the car to them and get your money back in full NOW. That car will never be right. It's a "Friday" car. Get your money back and vote with your feet. There are plenty of other cars out there.

I do mine the same way as Bibs. My CTEK charger is left permanently in the boot, tucked away on the LHS and connected directly to the 12V battery terminals rather than the 12V socket. -

Says it's been driven 300 km. Then says not a working drivable vehicle ??? Still got its original Michelin rubbers. It probably should be in a Lotus car museum and should scrub up well. PS I'm glad they changed the steering wheel, rear lights, seats, switchgear etc....
