What boils my piss more than the general “sensationalisation” by the media, is that Climate change has suddenly become the “Climate Emergency!”. Tosh, it’s only an emergency if my grandma spontaneously combusts (PS, she’s dead and was cremated). I had to deliver a report to a regional authority on alternative freight and logistics deliveries. I was asked to amend climate change statements to climate emergency, in line with their transport policies. No, No, No. I am off to Aus to speak at a conference. My paper is about delivering emergency alert warnings to connected vehicles. Again, my co-author wanted to use the phrase “Climate emergency”, NO! End of Rant!

Sadly this policy was imposed after a building site incident involving seven arguing Paddy bricklayers starting using their Mortar Boards as Frisbies!

Actually a return visit, we stayed a few nights about four years ago. Loved it. Some great restaurants and we’ll hire a car to explore the island (avoiding Palma 😊). We’re staying one night on arrival in Palma and plan to catch the train over. Love the tunnels!
