  1. Hi Andy, It was the full exchange one from SJ £650 I think at the time, I think they have both gone up. If you fit the full replacement hose let me know if / what difference it makes? Thanks
  2. Hi Andy, I did the clutch last year and new fly wheel, I have to get the old one ground up. I went with the AP std clutch as running std engine, I also replaced the slave cylinder as the original bleed nipple broke off. I have noticed they also do a direct slave cylinder hose from the master cylinder I wonder if this makes the pedal slightly lighter?
  3. Thanks Steve, On other engines like the Vauxhall c20xe which runs a similar process the relief valve comes in when the oil pressure reaches a certain pressure. This can be seen on the oil pressure gauge. Prior to changing the spring I was seeing between 3-4 bar in normal driving conditions. I changed the spring which cost from memory £5 and then I saw pressure improve to 4-5 bar. This seemed a cheap way to improve oil pressure and better lubrication?
  4. Hi, A question about the PRV, can you buy just the spring? I have found on other engines that the spring can loose its pressure through time and I have replaced the spring and it has improved oil pressure. Thanks.
  5. Fantastic to watch... love the sound of the motor and his enthusiasm for the car..... why would you not!
  6. I have just visited Central Lotus to look and sit in the Emira, It is wonderful to see such a car, and when I sat in I had not had that feeling of just sitting in a car since I bought my Esprit in 2004.... I had to walk out the showroom as I felt I would/ could spend a lot of money. The sales lady was laughing, it looks and feels a fabulous car.... and the quality, well done lotus....
  7. My valuation was for the insurance for agreed value, this is re-assed every two years.
  8. I have had my car independently valued nearly two years ago at £46K, that is a 2001 GT with 24k on the clock. Thanks Tim
  9. Thanks for the info about Cotterill Eng CC, I may pop over to see if they can lick up my V8 flywheel?
  10. They do look smart, I do like the flexibility of a HAAS machine and the rotary table, 4th Axis. I used to enjoy being involved in machining.
  11. Not for me, if you like it then that is the main thing.... enjoy the drive👍
  12. Looks fab mike, I think the cooler on the top is for the gearbox oil? Looking forward to ignition👍
  13. Hi, I have had Falkens fitted on the front for some years, I have been highly satisfied with them especially the wear rate, grip and steering feel is good in the dry, I have been satisfied with them in the wet.
