  1. Yes, its built into the head unit. You can buy an external microphone that plugs into the TRS 3.5mm Jack.
  2. Just off the phone with Adrian Flux, and they no longer include track day cover with their annual insurance, they only do this for Caterhams. They will however cover track days on a day-by-day basis.
  3. Just a word of warning to anyone running the PRORAM pleated cone filter, while changing my filter before my car goes in for a dealer service I ordered a new replacement after running the original for 10 months to find that the mesh which holds the synthetic filter is not stainless and is rusting from the outside-In, which is not ideal as this internal rust will now be on the SC side of the intake. I Have driven around 6k miles in the 10 months this filter has been fitted and this includes over winter, so if your planning on running this style of filter over the wetter months I'd suggest going for a foam type filter which on the Ramair website states uses a stainless steel internal cage. I'll be replacing again before winter with the foam type which is actually cheaper too.
  4. Seconded for the Brodit, I've just got ProClip #655407 mount with an adapted magnetic air vent clip which was by far the cleanest solution for me when no phone is mounted and cost around £20, phone doesn't budge once fitted with a magnetic case, and the vents are unobstructed when using the phone in portrait.
  5. @Sharky I found I needed to tweak the two rear hangers to get the diffuser to sit right, then put all the fixings in finger tight then start from the rear when tightening it all back up again which drew the rear brackets into place, the brackets are quite thin so form easily to the different whole locations. I haven't purchased a rear finisher yet as I've got the early Cup tow strap, I've just made some temporary brackets which I may just change out for adjustable diffuser rods.
  6. @Paul_D Yes that would be mine, I don't think there are any other S3's I've seen around town.
  7. Hi Paul, congrats on the purchase, that is a lovely looking colour on the 410! I'm also from Lowestoft so look forward to seeing you pass me by sometime!
  8. So its the CAI. I checked the above and all values looked ok, I reset the ECU by pulling the power and and the car has been ok since. The CAI has been on the car for 6 months so I'll have to see if the 'bad values' return or not in the future Thanks all for the help!
  9. So no standing burnouts allowed then? Thank you, and Pete for the suggestion then. I'll have a check now and see if I can come up with anything conclusive with the switch.
  10. I can't see how that would be connected to the engine operation on a manual car?
  11. That looks awesome - I wouldn't change a thing
  12. Hi all, I've searched and seen similar issues come up for the Evora but nothing in here. Over the last week the car has been hesitant under normal acceleration where it has stalled twice on me and low revs, also when cruising at 2,000 rpm the car will sit happily then jerk for a few seconds then sit happily before jerking again. I decided to give it a good boot to see if it needed a clear through and while doing this the TC light came on and stayed on, I pulled over turned the car off and restarted, which cleared the TC light and all was normal again. The next day and the Idle seemed low and rough at around 750 rpm from cold with air temps of 8°c and back to jerky response under acceleration or at constant rpm. Just for background, I use my car as a daily pretty much and has a CAI fitted so hasn't been sat around, the air filter is clean and dry. I have removed the MAF and cleaned it and the plug with electrical cleaner ,and also the plug on the clutch position sensor. Anyone else suffered this with an Exige and what else could be the culprit?
  13. So my car lives outside and I've had no bother, I have a mixture of hidden and semi visible cameras on the front of my house which cover the driveway. I wouldn't worry to much about added security unless you insurance company specify it, at the end of the day you're going to be less likely to drive it if you have to faff around with removing covers, steering wheel locks, and bollards, I'd personally just go with the bollard if you're concerned as that's most likely to cause worrying noises if attacked. My insurance wasn't such a hike for parking the car outside at night. The area you live in will probably determine the price difference between garage and driveway parking.
  14. I Ceramic coated mine four months ago and they come up clean every wash. You can get a DIY kit which are pretty simple to use yourself.
  15. Brilliant comparison, if you'd call it that with both cars being so different!! The sound quality is top notch too!
