  1. The BBC have lost all credibly and have become the brunt of many a joke. I dont know if they actually believe the shite they push or just do it to try to further their agendas?
  2. Thought thats how it sounded... When he said he was the only Esprit running Evans waterless but still had the system cleaner made me think. That and the fact Ive been using it in my turbo for 15 years.
  3. @mike_sekinger Id like to hear your thoughts on this mans claims. I dont know much about the V8 cars.
  4. Thats why I use confused.com saves all your details so you can bang it in and pick the cheapest each year. It annoys me when others such as direct line say we are not on comparisons. I tried and found out why...they were about £200 more expensive than everyone one else. That annoyed me as it took me about 30mins to enter all my details so they wasted my time!
  5. We are working on you. Whats the difference between a conspiracy theorist and the mainstream media?...About 6 months 😅
  6. This one is for sale but I dont know how much hes asking?
  7. I used to do Wordle but swapped to Duolingo as Wordle seems a waste of time as its 50% luck. Ive been learning Spanish, Italian & Latin. Although with the current population crash hitting Italy particularly hard there maybe no one left there to speak to in a couple of years time...
  8. Id laugh my arse off if they had to ban electric cars from central London 🙂
  9. Tomorrow basically being a new moon and the Friday 13th relating back to the execution of the Templars (716 years to the day) people are talking about the Arabs launching an attack on Israel. I guess time will tell.
  10. Seems to me a many people are not as happy as Israel may have hoped about them killing the innocent people of Gaza for what those of Hamas have done. Just Like USA done in the Gulf of Tonkin to allow USA to become involved in the Vietnam Conflict.
  11. What like they were let in perhaps? No way in hell they could have gotten through with out being let in. Men on motor bikes and paragliding in??? Their border is watched 24/7 and they stand to when pigeons land there...let alone anyone trying to cross.
  12. In many respects it doesn't matter what type of car started the fire...The public believes it was an EV. I wonder how many dealers will be having people ring up to cancel their orders this morning? Who would want an EV sitting on their drive next to their home while they sleep?
  13. I think there are a lot of people who move to foreign parts for all the right reasons but tend to group together with other English men & women. They may have all the best intentions of learning the language but its easier to meet and hang with your English friends. My father in law done this in Spain. All his Ex-pat friends who moved there had hoped to get a little side job but as they cant speak Spanish there are very few jobs for them. Next they all try to make marmalade to sell at car boot sales which is like trying to sell snow to Eskimos. Next they move to Benidorm where you can buy cheap breakfasts and speak English and even get a job. That's how it seems to me.
  14. The trouble with Brexit is the civil servants never wanted it and have opposed and done all they can to scupper it. I knew this when I voted to leave and am more convinced it was by far the correct choice. I saw this vid as the recent "rejoin" rally in London. I know its been edited to make the re-joiners look bad but the best they can come up with for what they miss about being out of the EU seems to be friendship? One guy claims he liked the EU as it was much more democratic???
  15. If any of you get down to Norwich to visit the factory a good Art stop of is the https://www.sainsburycentre.ac.uk/ There are Francis Bacon Portraits of Lisa Sainsbury and lots of other interesting works Modigliani Giacometti Picasso Degas & Henry Moores in the garden. Also the Location of the S3 Esprit Photoshoot. There are also Barbara Hepworth's dotted around the city too.
  16. I use Evans water less in my turbo. I didnt want to put water into my clean rebuilt cooling system.
  17. Yea but even my transit van has a camera which limits the speed to signs I pass and that cost me £22K new. Id expect at least that on a £40k+ Lotus EV
  18. I just heard Aviva has stopped insuring Tesla Model Ys? Too expensive to repair so they say. I wonder how this will effect the Lotus electric car sales? I mean you cant drive here in the UK without insurance but what would be the repair cost of a high performance EV like the Lotus ones? Maybe manufacturers will have to provide cost effective insurance or maybe a promise of low cost repair should something get damaged?
  19. My uncle recently bought a Honda hyrid. I remembered seeing the topgear man Rory saying they were the worst of both worlds as once out of electric you are lugging around motors and batteries with your pertrol engine. I dont know enough about them but maybe that was a plug in hydrid? I think my uncles car does not plug in but gets 60mpg. I dont know if that drops loads of motorways as you would be on your engine with little bracking to recharge? Is that correct? How they work?
  20. Are you 100% sure the housing is round the correct way?
  21. Are you 100% sure thermostat is correct way round? Someone had that wrong recently. What temp do your fans come on? Have you checked they are sucking not blowing? I had my old rad recored/ rebuilt. Was under £100 a few years back.
