I want one, but Samco don't make one. They'd be prepared to look at making a kit, if there were 10-15 people who are interested in buying a kit. I'd be wanting one for an '88 carb turbo - Do all the 4 pots have the same cooling hoses or are they different? If different, it's probably a waste of time. but if all hoses (or maybe 90%) of them are the same it may be worth investigating further. They'd also need a set of oringinal hoses to make a match, so if anyone's got some old ones (Sparky?) maybe they could be used as templates. I think that some people have bought kits from the "far east", but I'd rather go for something with a good reputation & "local" support. Thoughts/comments, anyone?

Not so sure about the interior colour, but love the exterior green. Looks like you've got a fantastic car as base to move forward with.

Like a lot. It looks sexier than Dave's but the appeal of his was the effort he'd put into getting it pulse tuned to make it work better. I'd be prepared to pay for the Alunox one, if it gave the same benefits as Dave's. I'd be prepared to pay as much for Dave's if he could get it done for around the same price rather than the £600 hoped for!

Did St.Malo - Dijon - Geneva - Berne - Lauterbrunen - Davos - Lake Como - Milan - Vienna - Florence - Monaco - Millau Bridge - Neuil - St Malo a couple of years ago. It was about 3,500 miles & never missed a beat. After reading about your trip it's got me thinking again......!

Dawn could never pluck up the courage to have a go in the Esprit, but says she'll be quite happy to drive around in the Elan. Although they're like chalk & cheese, it's great fun & handles as you would expect from a Lotus.

Finally found an Elan I can afford. Needs loads doing to it, but at least my wife's looking forward to driving it (she's too scared of the Esprit).

I thought the same when it happened to me. Tried fiddling with the wires first to see if it would make any difference - it didn't (but worth trying). I ended up fitting a new sender unit - all sorted since.

Fitted one years back - think I just connected it to the existing shower light circuit. Cost about £50 & has worked great since. It's got a built in timer, so stays on for 5 minutes or so after you switch the light off. Can't remember the make though.
