  1. you post in public, with that will come positive and negative comments. We all like different things in life.
  2. The “colour reveal” has been going on so long I think most people have lost interest 😂 Anyway, look forward to seeing the final product. The new bodywork under the A pillars looks pretty trick and a nice design. I think the spoiler is going to be pretty marmite….
  3. I guess It’s a question of taste and personal preference….. It will make zero difference to the engine cooling and I am not sure on an S3 if it would feed in to the engine bay. On the S2 it fed the inter cooler directly.
  4. @MAG looking forward to seeing your solution for the number plate lights. I always thought the factory solution looks awful and a real after thought.
  5. I guarantee you will get a invoice through the post in the next few weeks from TNT. This is now normal practice. They give you a pretty short timeline to pay and are relentless in chasing it up.
  6. Learn how to do it the manual way.... it’s not difficult and can be pretty rewarding. i am not sure these devices do much good for the car.
  7. Yes you will need the fitting kit. They attach to the little balls you mention. There are also other brackets needed for the lower cam cover. The full kit is about £80. You will need this for sure. You can buy it on Elise shop or use the part numbers there and buy direct from Deroure for a small saving.
  8. I think it’s colour dependant to an extent. in my chrome orange S2 Exige the attention was constant. In my black S3 350 the attention is much less.... which I prefer. When I park or fill up with petrol I tend to be left alone. I do notice younger women who are impressed with expensive cars always double take and smile.... until they see a 40 something average guy driving and then look a tad disappointed 😂😂
  9. That’s super quick. However, there are a lot of bad drivers there and some of the overtaking was simply dangerous. Weaving between cars mid corner and off the track to overtake is not good at all
  10. @MrP_ done the same install and cut down the indicator so it didn’t catch when it flipped out. I can’t locate the thread!
  11. Looks fantastic. please tell me they haven’t actually drilled through the rear clam to attach the number plate ?
  12. This is great news. I was one of the moaners, so I am delighted it’s been resolved. Let’s hope the showroom and facilities are fitting of the brand. Parks deal with some pretty prestigious marques so I don’t have any doubts it will be nothing other than very professional. Gutted it’s not in Edinburgh, but that’s my very selfish view point! At least we have Craig Moncreieff as a brilliant independent.
  13. Hello, I have recently acquired a SVA sport 160 to accompany my Exige 350. it’s a great low mileage example, but needs a little work to make it perfect. It’s a little project and I hope a keeper. as with any 20 year old Lotus, it has a fair amount of stone chips on the front clam and the lower sills. I am looking for a lotus friendly body shop in Edinburgh or Midlothian. Does anyone have any recommendations?
  14. Not all Exige’s came with cruise control. Mine doesn’t have it so it makes this conversion very easy
  15. Now I would be impressed if you can get the logos on there. I checked with Dan at divine handcraft and he couldn’t help, but hadn’t considered laser engraving. the OEM stalks are just awful, would be great if you can make this solution work ... then I can copy you ! 😂
