So, to sum up, we had a great time, and met a lot of enthusiastic Esprit owners. Out of 18 Esprit's, there were only two issues. The yellow S1 had been lent to the guy driving it by his friend, after the driver's own S1 was sat awaiting parts. It started running on 3 cylinders, and had a leak under the carbs. Despite that, he managed to make it driveable, probably due to the amount of people standing around and pointing, and as far as we know made it home. The red S4s driver's window had rolled itself down further than it should have, I suspected the window logic module may have been at fault, but they too managed to get home OK.

Apart from the blocked headlamp pod drain, our own Esprit behaved faultlessly. We covered 1,850 miles in total (this due to our extending the stay for a week in the Dordogne), a rough calculation showed approximately 30 mpg, which I was pleased with given the majority of distance was at high speed, with a good deal of hooning in-between.

At lunch of the Sunday there was talk of a repeat performance for next year, albeit in a different part of France, and if we are able to go we certainly will. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Not that I know of. As I said, the best thing to do is to message Hugues to register an interest.
