Just coming up on 7 years and 45k miles (would have been more but for Covid) in my 2010 NA.

Absolutely love it and definitely no plans to sell anytime EVER!

A few mods made since it left the hands of @21gg, with a couple more in the engine compartment coming soon then that should be it just about perfect in my eyes, .

I have only had mine for just short of three years. I first drove one in January 2010, having been smitten by the car at Hethel in 2008. I also had a go in the Gumball Evora around the test track at the factory in 2011, which was fun! Unfortunately, it took a few years to realise I needed one in my life, including wasting two years after I foolishly convinced myself to buy something else instead (alongside other Lotus, of course). I was lucky to have use of a GT430 for a day shortly after buying my car, and although it was superb, I was delighted to get back in my NA version at the end of the day.

I do make up for my brief ownership in the mileage, though, as I have driven about 20,000 miles in that time. First lockdown year accounted for about 8,000 of those; driving into London was a joy on a couple of occasions, although leaving home at 03:30 wasn't exactly fun!

The plan is for the car to be with me for the long term, certainly.

Almost 7 years, with a 2010 Evora NA and no major issues. Only cover about 3000 miles a year, but serviced every year. Ex Gavan Kershaw company car, I was fortunate to introduce myself to him at the Lotus 70th Anniversary, when he had finished his track display. Before I had chance to ask, he said didn't drive my car like he had just driven on track and that he had the CR gearbox fitted, which I think was an optional extra in 2010.

Glad to hear Gavan a CR gearbox fan. My car is ex-Martin Donnelly, also CR box. I heard all the press cars also had CR box too. 3rd and 4th so good red-lining with that box.

You should, though in reality they are a very expensive, unnecessary bit of paper and trinkets.

I bought my Evora S Sport Racer new in 2015 from Hexagon..I was their very first Lotus customer!!  I did think about changing it for a 400, but I really didn’t like the interior of the 400 or the seats. It felt like sitting on the car rather than in the car and I got the impression that the Add Lightness mantra actually meant add cheapness to maximise profits. The Last of the Sports Racers were fully fitted, with every extra included as standard. Sure the interior has some eccentricities, but I got used to them and it adds to the charm of a hand built car. Eventually, I just decided to keep it. I had the TVS 1900 Supercharger fitted like Tims car, and am very, very happy with the result. Now we have the new Lotus Enima or whatever its called.. It’s quite pretty..maybe looks a bit generic, undoubtably it will be better made and better equipped. A great shame it no longer has the Lotus Visor windscreen which I’ve always loved..I guess it’s too expensive!, and the same diameter wheels front and back don’t work for me..but again I guess it’s just cheaper to do like that… So, I’m always stuck with the same problem, I love my Evora but can’t think of anything else I’d rather have.

Just over four years for me, but probably over 15 years of Lotus ownership now counting the Elises.

Reason for Evora purchase was 100% the rear seats due to imminent arrival of our little one - You can see her fingerprints on the car door in the pic below!  It has taken the family on heaps of road trips and been pretty close to faultless. Always the best car at the daycare pickup too 😉

I have had a look at the Emira interior recently ....well, it all depends (as always) on your personal taste but the interior materials als far away from the lots of leather used for the Evora S1. The non integrated screen might be modern but the old dashboard with atari like graphics and general outlay as a memory of the Lotus Elite will always be special - but if you want a "modern" int. than the Emira will work in proper way ! 

The Recaro Speedster CS seats used in the Evora S1 are very expensive, I can´t think of a reason changing them but of the cost theme for Lotus.....for me the original seats were fantastic, even after 800 km in a day no problem ....
