How to get this frame off

Can someone please describe how I get the black frame off? in addition also the aluminum plate

If I remember correctly, it's all one piece and you can use interior pry tools to remove it.

Yep aluminium plate and black frame for the radio come off in one piece including the buttons.  Its held in place with clips that you can use a pry tool to get off.  If you've not done it before, I had to use more force to pry it off than I initially thought but it did come off safely and in one piece.

Attached photo show locations of the clips and where you'll want to focus using the pry tool.

Thanks, that's all the info I need. Will buy a proper pry tool tomorrow and proceed with my conversion to double DIN. Thx.

I used a peice of electrical wire fed behind the panel edge, then pulled it. Some times it works better than pry tools as it keeps the panel perpendicular so I found the clips came out a bit easier. But as above, the first time you do them they cab be very tight.
