2011 Evora S High Level Brake light

Hi Folks,

Possibly mentioned previously, my Spoiler Brake light has water internally and only lights now and again.

Where can you get a replacement and how do you prevent the ingress of water.

i have heard that a MG 25 light will fit?

Also is it better fitting clear or the red replacement.

Lotus have over 100 in stock, £125 + VAT and part number is C132M0108F.

The Perei HS25/MG Rover XFG000150 (clear) or XFG000140 (red) are the same fixture, but do not include the 2 holes that Lotus uses to mount to the spoiler. The 2-pin connector is also different.

Hi,

Thanks for your help, I found after stripping out my light it was actually Rover part with the Model number on it (Rover XFG 000150 Clear), there is also a red option available, I went on eBay bought an original part one for £9.99 plus £4.00 Postage, it arrived today, same light with even the same plug on it, one of the threads mentioned cutting the wires and soldering the joint, then seal with heat shrink, this is not necessary you can carefully remove the plug by popping out the terminals, feed the cable through then pop on the plug, Simple. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
