I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

@Bibs do you have visibility on their pipeline of appointments? Wondering if there is anyone in Scotland pitching for it. I'm planning a major refurb and will need some paint defects addressing, maybe a full respray.

@hedgerley the "go to" place for many (Craig Moncrieff uses them) with specialist cars is Protek in Bathgate. They have worked on numerous Lotus cars so will have the experience re our composite bodies etc. They regularly do work for the Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Porsche dealerships too. They have an excellent reputation.

Also might work speaking to John Walsh ( @johnpwalsh ) who through Lotus Rescue has had many esprits fully repainted and "touched up"!

@Bibs Do you think any of these newly appointed bodyshops would like to try to repaint a 291k mile Lotus Elan M100 as a practice project?

Happy to supply one if there are any takers 😃
