Propulsion doesn't really bother me with any car. Suspension is No1 for me, weight close equal, steering not far behind.

Whilst I love a fruity exhaust and an engine has to be well resolved, it's not a priority. A stonking V12/V8/6 in a 1500kg, poorly dampered dull steered stallion - no thanks.

911 has never hit the spot - steering not to my taste. And modern ones are very heavy.

Looks great. As long as the owner is happy then what's the harm?

It wouldn't be for me, just as the electric 308/328 wouldn't be for me. I want a 308/328 but I'd want it with a petrol engine as I'd want to hear the engine and the exhaust. I'd want to manually change the gears through that click-clack metal grate.

The electric version would be faster. The electric version would probably be easier to live with. The electric version would start first time, every time. But it would be soulless and lacking in character to me.

I would think, it would be a bit like swapping your wife for a rubber doll.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Not for me, all I see is a ruined 911.

I have about as much interest in EV's as I have while choosing a new fridge or freezer.

I would actually call that a clear example of cultural appropriation…

IMO, the ev industry should create their own icons. If they can…

If it's just for posing, and not for driving, it doesn't matter how it's powered or how often it has to recharge (and how long), now does it. 😁

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.
