Fecamp, round the coast from Calais. Great Marina means lots of money, which means a thriving restaurant culture. I had some of the best food there I've ever had anywhere!

If you head towards Abbeyville then head inland towards Arras, very 'Olde Worlde' some superb restaurants mainly French cuisine, well the ones we went to were, also remember the Peages you pay for the distance you have travelled also Petrol is cheaper if you fill up off of the Euro-routes. No matter were you go I am sure you will enjoy yourselves. I must admit we became quite partial to Kia as an aperitif

I must admit we became quite partial to Kia as an aperitif

white wine and creme de cassis = Kir

champagne and creme de cassis = Kir Royal

Sorry I'm late, did I miss anything?

No internet access yesterday - typical!

I'd have said Champagne too - lots to see indoors at this time of year and only a couple of hours from the port (in an Esprit :yes )

We stopped in Montrieul for lunch and a walk around la citadelle and have kinda arrived in La Treport which seems like a lovely little town. Just in a restaurant on the waterfront now before finding a nice hotel to stay in.

I must say the French roads are ace. Empty, fast, fun!
