Go to the main website http://www.thelotusforums.com and at the bottom, in the grey area under links is a link.

Otherwise, it's just /wiki in the browser rather than forum. Once it's less shit, I'll add a link to the header of the forum too. Oh, and it's shit because no one other than me ever does anything with it. Now's your chance :)

Geeze, I've been in a mid-life crisis all my life then!! I never grew out of Scorpions, Rainbow, Lizzy, and BOC.

You're officially old. As anyone in the UK can tell you--and anyone under the age of 29 in the US, like me, can tell you, "BOC" no longer stands for Blue Oyster Cult, but rather Boards of Canada.

77060315H Red with (formerly) brown marcasite. For sale on and off for the past two years near Flint, Michigan. 15k miles. Faded paint, shrunken/torn original U.S. bumpers, faded marcasite-substitute upholstery, Ted Nugent 1979 Chevy 4x4-esque seat covers and Harley Davidson floor mats. Only missing the Yosemite Sam mud flaps that say "Back Off!" Looks otherwise very original but dilapidated.

On eBay March 2011 with starting bid of $6000 USD and no reserve.

You mean you're not gonna buy it? Step up, brother!

Either way, I hope someone saves it. It seems to be saying, "Take me home, please!" Even when I see an S1 with the snot beat out of it like this, I still think it's beyond beautiful.

Totally! That shabby condition doesn't overpower the deep and alluring mystique that these cars have always had.

I have today seen a demo of car registry V1.0 - a plugin to wordpress (the software running the site). It provides a way of entering the details of your car automatically and only you can see your car details.

I will shortly be letting Bibs have a copy to play around with for the site.

You may have seen this request on other sites, but,

I understand that an Esprit Turbo I once owned (VPK 364Y), having purchased it new From Bell & Collville, is still on the road and know doubt giving the current owner the same enjoyment that I had all those years ago.

If you are the current owner or know of the cars whereabouts please get in touch.

Many thanks

David
