James - I must have those seat handles for the Golf mate that is SICK...

Sam got me a 24 hour ticket for a lake local to my Mum and Dad's.

I am getting my tackle out very early tomorrow - shall post pictures of my catch (confident eh?) whence I return.

Well update on the overnight rain sodden fishing event:

My indicators remained motionless for the duration and i decided to pack up early instead. In fairness the pit i fished was tiny and 'full' of fish; roach, perch, rudd and fingerling carp under 1lb - just not what i was targetting.

Not being snobbish or big headed but i want 20lb+ really although would have been happy with a bend in the rod from a 5lber or more.

These little baby fish were for 'beginners' or people wanting to take their kids for a dangle, a good idea. I think i am spoilt by the waters local to me back home.

Oh well next time...

Hi Roger,

this is very close to my house, may be 15 min drive max. I can find out about it if you want as we have a massive fish tackle shop in the little town where I live. They can give me the low down on spots to fish. I will pop in to ask them
