another reminder, take a reference pic of how the windows went in before you take them out if theres still that oppritunity... the uper ridge i thought the top edge of the glass sat under this ridge and followed it back, but i looked at another guys car this weekend and it looks as if a tiny bit of the glass towards the front door side actually goes up on this ridge and as you follow the contour back, it drops off the ridge gradually...

hope that makes sense...

a really thin and long bread knife coated in cooking oil woks good for the back corner areas that you cant get your arm into by the way

Wow! I got one window out this evening... It took little over two hours and lots of cooking oil...

I found my main tool of choice was my bread knife...

Sparky, I'll be headed over to France in a couple of days and will have to finish my windows when I get back. I can help you with yours no problem, when I get back... I should have enough paint left for you as will... Going to miss this weekend hoon

for getting the old crap off the windows, a perfectly new razor blade held almost parallel to the window works excellent... just make sure you dont try to get the thick ceramic leading edge band off too cus that wont come off! haha

Sika? or 3M primer?

The Sika primer goes on very easy, bonds very well, and is tough like glass. Not sure about the 3M, haven't used it.

For the adhesive, I used Sika 255 FC
