Thanks, this is what I got from Lotus. I'd have liked some old photos but I can't seem to get any

Hello Andy, to expand a little further 10300 was owned by David North he lived not far from me. I remember going to over to see him for a chat many years ago and have a look at MOI 7034. He wanted to know why it was blue underneath the Maroon paintwork.

The previous owner before David North was a Mr Hartwell who lived in Leamington Spa.

Mr Hartwell wrote to Lotus Cars asking if they had any information on 10300, M. J. Pomfret replied in a letter dated 20th July 1989, I have a copy. 

Unfortunately I wish I had taken some photo's but remember it had lost it's air-con when it was converted to RHD, the question is who converted it to R/H drive, David North didn't know and I don't know who would have the answer ?

Salon Prive is held at Blenheim Palace each year over a 4 day period. They choose a different colour each year and invite 16 cars that represent some of the most interesting, rare and exotic in that particular colour. This year it was blue and I was asked to show the Essex blue Esprit which was parked alongside a Ferrari 512 BB, F40 and Bugatti Veyron for the duration. Great to see and catch up with so many familiar faces at the event.

Fabulous day. Can you believe Thursday night on my way to my Air bnb we sat in a McDonald’s and Sparkeys daughter was in there too with her husband. She introduced herself and we ended up face timing him.
