You might find that the latest internet explorer update is causing the issue (and many other issues).  Try firefox, chrome or anything other then explorer and it should work fine.

OK all you brainiacs, how do I get my video footage posted to the forum, I have some cracking footage taken from our run over Cairn o Mount last weekend but have never tried this before, any help for a technophobe would be great.

Easiest way is to edit it and put it on Youtube, then post the link in here, a viewer window will magically appear for all to click on.

If you're using the mobile skin, which it should default to, click on 'use full version' at the bottom then use the 'more reply options' and upload the images from your phone gallery.

Or use a proper computer.

Click on 'more reply options' rather than just using the quick reply box. Bottom right of the box you're typing in...

I couldn't find this "more reply options" button... :(

How come when I attach a file, i.e. a picture, I upload say a 1.2MB image, but then the thread decides to save it as a tiny 44KB file with absolutely no resolution and detail? I couldn't find any setting to change this, looks like it's something the website is doing by default.

I have loaded photos on before which did not load as sharp as what I can see them on my Mac, but I have never taken much notice of the size. I tried repeating the upload and got the same result. So que sera sera.

Does the file get resized as well (image wise) or just quality?

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

Yep, pic is smaller than original, file size is a fraction of original so detail cannot be seen. I use other car forums that don't do this, don't know why it's happening.

Surprised I'm the only one who's noticed this?

I just switched to your account and uploaded that image which is fine. There is a size limit on images as we don't have unlimited space and storage isn't cheap on server SSD drives but it shouldn't be shrinking them down as much as you're experiencing.

Did you not see this post?

I used your account and it worked just fine. It's not the forum resizing them, it's your browser/computer/whatever. Nothing here is causing this issue, which is why no-one else is having it mate.
