A few pics of the evora GTE taken at last nights Norlog meet, what a stunning car in the flesh!

 

 

 

 

 

 

That GTE looks great just needs a red stripe down the centre and call it the Evora LF1 . Trouble is they might have to wait a while until they win another GP and give it win number 82

Well have just been away with friends up the west coast of Scotland for 3 days of absolutely brilliant driving.      Roads clear of traffic, tourists and caravans - but not bikes.  Hundreds of them out also enjoying the place. Sun shining, temp in the high teens and scenery looking brilliant.  When up to Tyndrum and then via Glen Lochy, Pass of Brander etc to Connel and staying at Isle of Erika hotel just N of Connel and then used as a base for a run up to Fort William and out to Mallaig and then returned via my old hunting ground of Ardnamurchan peninsular and over the Corran Ferry.  Came home the next day via Glen Coe although a horrible fatality accident between car and a biker and then a car fire had the road closed for 6 hours so ended up covering Glen Coe twice in opposite directions to find another scenic way home.

All Glen Coe or Black Mount/Rannoch Moor.  Roads were quiet but accident had made them quieter.

A quick picture from a recent blast just to clear the cobwebs - up through Blairgowrie, the old Military Road to Glenshee, Braemar and then a stop in Ballater for lunch sat outside (where Scarlett pictured was parked opposite).

 

Retraced route back to the B951 then cross country through Glen Isla to Kirriemuir and back home. A lovely drive on lovely roads and Scarlett was in great voice!

 

I think she makes the mini look like a brick and really shows what a great looking car the Evora is.

Somehow this is the perspective that shows both the strengths and weaknesses of the Evora design. Overall it's s unique and Supercar worthy. Except the rear third that looks somewhat too light. 

 

Most performance cars have more optical weight in the rear, the only thing lacking in this perspective.

It was the furtherst from shops, but closest to stairwell exit to road.

Either way, it was more thr fact I knew I had a guaranteed space next to drivers door even if someone parked next to me.
