I like the colour having seen it a few times in the flesh at Murray's in Edinburgh. Outside and inside lighting. It is a 'mature' colour though IMO and certainly not any hint of boy racer. I see you have retained the red brake callipers of the Model 12 year S and again IMO I don't think they go with the colour having seen them on the car. 2 shades of red not working well together. Would be much nicer in standard black or a silver or something. Even the Velvet.

Anyway lovely car despite my negative comment and hopefully lots of pleasure heading your way.

WHile this comment not directed at me I totally agree. I want my car to be a GT car rather than boy racer, so the mature elegance of the color is just what I am looking for (same with Nightfall Blue). I specifically ordered mine with black calipers for the reason of clashing colors.

Was that on a Vic Club drive John?

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Hi Mike, no the last shot was on an EMR organised by Duane from Aussie Elises. Brilliant day; the road from Eildon to Jamieson is 100kmh and has 60km of hairpins, superb!

How goes the Esprit? You coming along this Sunday for the LCV EMR?

No, won't be at that one John. 4 1/2 hours to get home afterward + the 2 hours to get there for an 8:30am start.

That makes for 6 1/2 hours of driving for a 3 1/2 hour run.

Where is that? It looks a bit like The Stables. Beautiful.

Autumn Bronze. Very nice and the best photo (not saying much) that I've seen of it thus far as well. One for a future short list.

If that really is your pad (I'm not sure if you are "extracting the urine" or not having seen other photos relatively recently of your car outside other much newer property) then very nice as Justin says. I always love the look of good farm conversions. We have quite a few round our way as well.

justin, i saw the exige v6 in burnt orange at hethel, it didn't quite work for some strange reason. no idea why.

it did look good on bibs evora which i believe was one of the many press cars being prepared in that colour at that time.

does anyone have any pics in sienna brown ?

other VR for those interested... looks like an old fashioned italian sportscar red to me...

Out of the Lotus palette "zest yellow" is my favourite at present and looks great in the sunlight. Saw it down in Hethel on an Elise and looked awesome, sure it would work as well on the Evora/Exige

THose swatches do an excellent job of demonstrating the depth of color (especially the Velvet Red) that the paint has when in direct sun. They get even better when the card is bent.
