After almost 2 years of surfing, lurking and craving I finally have my very own Lotus Evora NA.  

To say I'm thrilled is an understatement, and I can now fully understand the rave reviews about this car, the way it drives, handles and feels. Its certainly lived up to my expectations and more.

Instead of driving yesterday (probably a stupid idea) I took the opportunity to give the car a good clean and start work on some of the bits that were niggling at me.

I then started work on the leather, cleaned everything and then applied a Conditioner.  Very pleased with the results.

The gearknob was rather worn, so I replaced it with a shiny aluminium one, easier to grip and I like the extra weight.

Last I started work restoring some of the exterior plastics, I've only done half the car so I can see how it looks in a week when I get back from business trip.

End results were worth the 5.5 hours spent and the now aching back, perfect for 10 hours in economy this afternoon.

I kind of like the stripe, including around the wheel arches.  :)   Feels like a nice tribute to the Esprit S1 -- one of my dream cars as a kid.

Today at the factory. My Evora is nearly ready to deliver. only the black stripes on the site are missing. i am very very v.... excited :-)

I'm reunited with my car today after a weeks separation, and it's fair to say that I've missed it. 

The car lives outside and since September I've covered 5000 miles so I decided to treat it to a bit of tlc. The detailer has done a fantastic job and the g-techniq stuff should keep things looking good ?

Unfortunately Lotus paint thickness apparently leaves something to be desired.....

Where did you get them from Lee?

Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

@C8RKH, yes they are Winace bumpers. Although its hard to show in the pictures (had to resize them so they loose a lot of detail), the quality is very good and the carbon looks great. They go great with  rest of the carbon I have (mirrors, A-pillars, sail panel, front access panel, barge boards, side scoops, rear wing, engine cover).
