Lacets de Montvernier......

spend every summer in the alps cycling for a week or two, rode that last year...  lovely little climb 

would make a stunning hill climb event

Silly question but how can they have their own rule. Surely there must be some EU legislation as to what is required?

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

There isn't an eu standard for registration plates. Letter size, spacing , postion of plate and coulors are country dependent. I think but haven't checked that as long as the plate is fixed and conforms otherwise to country of origin then all is well as long as you have your country sticker in the right place, GB etc.

But the French politicos really are a breed apart. Take Macron and his chums out of France and you'd probably find Heaven is a place on earth.

Last weekend we arranged Lotus Festival Sweden 2019 in and around Linköping. On Saturday we visited Mantorp Classic as Mantorp Park celebrated its 50th "birthday". Mantorp Park is a race track just south of Linköping. We counted to 65 Lotus cars at the club area during the day. For this thread, there were 7 Evora (out of 30 in total in Sweden). A couple of photos below (more to come in my thread in RoW).

Taken yesterday at the car show linked to the Bo'ness Hillclimb Revival event (thanks to @The Lotus Position for the photo), she scrubs up quite well for almost 9 years old and 73k miles on the clock, :smoke: .

........and from the day before, a nice professional shot taken in the Lammermuir hills south of Edinburgh during the Jim Clark Road Run to the new museum in Duns.

Mind you, had the photographer been stationed a mile or so back he'd have got a real action shot, when I discovered too late that the last in a series of crests in the road was in fact a 1:1 scale replica of Beachy Head.

Arriving at what could be best described as 'making determined progress' :whistle:, I did take a fair bit of air and judging by the furrows in the road surface in the landing area I certainly wasn't the first. Wonder if I can have the Evora added as a type rating on my PPL? :o
