But it spells LOTUS, not TOWIE.

Hmm will debate it. I kinda liked the lettering, but i'm very keen on making an elegant car stay elegant whilst adding more exotic. Not by adding chav.

I'm disleslik when it comes to big white letters on a black spolier - just the LOTUS in a white outline would have been more Norfolk than TOWIE.

Canyon Red was one of my choices for my first Evora. I started with Ice White, changed to Solar Yellow, then to Canyon Red before finally deciding on Solar Yellow. I was so glad when I got the car that it was Yellow and not a Harlequin colour.

Anyway back to the topic, sorry but I don't like the LOTUS lettering in white. If you still want lettering why not just outline the letters in Gold. Another alternative for me if available at all would be the 7 laurel wreaths in gold that commemorate the 7 F1 Constructor's championships. Lotus F1 cars had these on the rear wings in the JPS era.

Oooh, now theres an idea. Andy, remind me to go to you for all future mod approvals. White LOTUS outline lettering.

Will take a look at option to get the Lotus lettering in border only. I have a black/red theme going on, so i'll avoid gold. But white would be fine.

Or actually red would be very classy..... Subtle even....  ;)

Who makes and sells these carbon covers?........

I fancy something different on mine too.........

Given the carbon fibre engine cover @LotusFestival was an unintended purchase

I was going to get the LotusSport LOTAC05507 engine cover but I was told it only came in 3k weave. The rest of my CF is 6K 2x2 twill, so I had an extra engine cover covered in real 6k Carbon Fiber Fabric (to match my other carbon bits).

I finished it by painting the emblems in red and reinstalled the grilles.

Have to say coming to the show late but have withered about the spoiler for mine and swung both ways after seeing them in the flesh.  If I did it it would be body coloured struts and black wing.  Don't like the large Lotus lettering when seen one in the flesh it has to be said but if done in a more subtle colour and just outline then that could look very nice indeed and could be convinced to change my mind.

I do like Canyon Red in the flesh as well.  Classy.

Looks like you had a great day Al and Andy.

Must have been quite a sight to see two such rare cars out and about together.  Somehow more unique than a pack of Loti?

Seeing your photo's makes me miss Scotland and it's roads, having been based in Helensburgh for six years.

Here a few pics after fitting the hk wing and painting the light sockets/letters.

I'm very very happy with it, next item on the list is the front splitter and Intake scoops....

On Sunday lunchtime, 7 of us die-hard Lotus drivers braved the wet weather and headed into Horsham town centre, where we were escorted by council members to the pedestrianised street for our VIP parking. I took some rather biased photos ofcourse...

I must say, the wing is definitely growing on me, and with the carbon fibre engine cover w/ BoT decal, it's starting to work rather well :)

The Horsham Ferrarri event - imagine that, but for Lotus. This was just a trial one however, so very few of us (7 cars in total) and only for 3 hours. From the sounds of it, next year they want masses. This year was very much trial/error, and hopefully next year will be a huge success. Horsham dd absolutely no advertisement for it however, which was a big error in my books. Mind you, we had roads closed, marshalls direct us all over the place, and our own Lotus permit and sign posts. Good signs for the future *pun intended*
