Have owned the car for 11 years.

1980 Espirt 2.2 Turbo.

Got it as a project. Had fire damage.

11years later and the motor in in the car, but not running yet.

Next year, maybe next year.

It has non standard rims on.

Bought the car without rims, engine and gearbox.

It had the usual fire damage over the engine bay, near the carbs.

It has a dry sump motor. Want to add fuel injection as I dont have a set of carbs.

Might even find the Panasonic radio.

If I can find one.

A member on the forum has the frame to hold a radio, but no radio.

Thanks Mike, must admit she does look stunning, especially in the sunlight. Still hankering after another S3 though. Hope you and the family have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. mine will be a bit flat as I am now firmly stuck in the ice in the middle of the Caspian which in the area is well and truly frozen over and bloody cold. I expect over the next week or two we will have our usual visit from the wolves who cross the ice scaveninging for food which seems crazy as we are 45 Killometers from the shoreline, a bloody long way to come for our food. Never mind with the new job starting soon hopefully next year I will have more time at home to enjoy a few more events and mix in with all you guys from South of the border, might even drag the Mrs along in her little BB as she calls it. Wendy's meaning of BB and mine I must admit are slightly different but hey ho she loves the thing.

This is my carbon grey Evora S SR on holiday in France last year. Attracted a fair amount of attention. One chap got out of his car to take 360 degree photos of it while we were parking up and sitting in the car.

sorry if this dissappoints but the stratos is a Hawk replica, built by me from 1988, starting off as a stradale, with a Lancia Beta twin cam 2.0l engine, later changed to Group 4, wide arches and rear wheels, with Alfa 164 V6 3.0l engine. It was a very close replica to original

It was however fantastic to own and drive, really quite fast with the V6 and sounding great.

I just wanted a new challenge, so sold it to buy unfinished Lotus Elan, spyder project, which I'm doing now.
