My Turbo Esprit arrived yesterday. Absolutely stunning L25 Monaco white....

Looks great....but intrigued by the code changes, when did they happen? Mine is a December '85 build '86 reg car in A21 Monaco white.

Loving Lionel and Eleanor......missing Charlie and Sonny

Ahhhh! Thanks Derek. So now the even more numpty question. When and why would you use a two pack instead of a Nitro-cellulose or vice versa?

A33 Ice blue

p.s. I have the S3 manual which lists all of the paint codes. If you ask her nicely I'm sure my lovely wife who is a better typist than me (i.e. not two fingers) would summarise them in the thread

John

why do u have an engine hoist on your drive ???/

To hondansxr

You obviously have never tried to remove the engine from an Esprit then.......

It remains there as its too heavy to dismantle and too bulky to find somewhere in my garden to store it.

If anyone would like to use it to remove or refit an engine with absolute control and precision and you don't mind a trip to berkshire you are more than welcome to 'borrow' it.

I am expanding this section - can we at least scoure the Internet to find one in every colour and post the picture? For example the famous photo of Colin in front of the private jet in black with John player markings, it that not Gold (oyster) colour? Where is this car now, where the heck are the 11,000 odd cars?!!! Only a few thousand on the road that's for sure...
