We got a fair old bit of rain down in Geelong and I wondered whether it was going to blow up the bay and affect the race. It didn't. :)

 

Truly amazing what they pull off up there at Albert Park. I know what it looks like when it is not a race track and I still can't work out where everything goes for when it is a race track.

Everything seems to be removable. The ripple strip, the gravel run offs. They paint over the road lines, then repaint them before they open the roads again.

Incredible amount of work involved. :respect:

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.
