Leasing out the Lotus badge like this is a total tragedy for the company. Each consecutive owner of Lotus does more damage to the brand.

Both the same bike with different skins and seats. No rider aero fairing and Harley fork rake makes the Lotus decal bike a cruiser.

Lotus should stick to what they know and stay away from bikes. That mock up in the MCN is NOT a superbike. Too fat too low. Leave the fat an low to Harley. leave the bikes to the bike manufacturers.

Don't know the exact numbers, but several have been produced and sold. Some of the parts were manufactured at ByKolles, the LMP1 race team of Colin Kolles, and the final bikes were was built last year. I thought I read somewhere that Lewis Hamilton bought one, but can't find any info on that.

Just having a look at the UK stats (VEH0124/0125) shows 2 "Lotus Model Missing" on the road and one SORN'd. 

Will have a look for the full EU numbers when I'm back in the orifice next week although obviously all of those numbers are based on real registrations.

Edit: Year of first reg is 2017 for those in the UK. MCN had a ride in 2016.
