only just spotted this little gem!

 

 

can't believe how well Barrie's Essex holds off the GT3 down the straights, the performance in 1980 must have been outrageous, the Ferrari 308 of the day would have been toast! Looked pretty tidy in the corners too. Oh, and you can see the gleaming Compomotives reflecting on the track surface. What a car!

I was testing a new chip that day (bad decision) and it was absolutely abysmal. I must have been 40 brake down, and was literally matching Bazza on the straights. Chip was history next day.

Esprit shown with S350 wheels ..instead of the factory version for a typical V8(SE)

-S350 front lip added afterwards -mentioned 'ground clearance'

or:

..talkin about "AP racing" brakes with 320mm all around      ...and camera points on BREMBO calliper

 

aftermarket steering-wheel is an other point ..but the best detail is his two finger shift on the first ride, prior to the driver change

Look up mine "damfastgang" I have so much lotus footage from inside my own car and also from Throckmorton, I filmed the guys making the film, in fact I think I captured more, my own car had a puncture on the day, I went up there with my pal in his Elise.

What I need is time to upload more, I also have "damfastgang02" which has my last  V8 chasing my pal Lee's "Countach"

Good video mate but despite the gloves your steering wheel looks very very dirty now, full of oil....so best you can do is to send it to me and I will send you a brand new one from Momo.....
