Speedo says 33925.  That 5 makes a big difference!

Curious that your account details say Turbo?   Nice car BTW!

I also have a Turbo Esprit from 1983

What is odd?

The speedometer in the picture reads 33925 km, while the MOT mileage you quote is only 3392km?

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

Thanks for clearing it up! I guess the confusion started with the very first post:

My Esprit S3 LHD 1987 (3392km)

Afterwards 'mil' was mentioned, but I didn't notice and I'm sure most others hadn't heard of it either.

Regardless, it's a beautiful car and 34000km is still low mileage. :)

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.

Nice, but if it were mine, the wheels would be 'standardised'!

Then you maybe dont like the wheels on my excel either :-(

I have been having trouble getting good photos of my White Esprit Turbo especially in bright sunlight. I have been trying to capture the amazing deep gloss shine of the paint work using various settings on my Olympus E410 but could only stop a white wash effect by waiting until the sun was going down making other aspects darker and the shine of the chrome powder coated wheels look no where near as bright as they are in real life. Which looks better out of the 2 photos different settings? My iphone seems to capture the car better?

Cheers Mike
